MBABANE – The Athletics Eswatini (AE) is hosting Level 1 First Aid Course attended by over 10 officials.
The two days course is held at the OlympAfrica Sports Development Centre in Lobamba. It is facilitated by Banele Ntshalinstshali and Sibusiso Dlamini from Emergency Preparedness Response of Eswatini (EPR).
“Athletics Eswatini has kicked off its Level 1 First Aid Course with great enthusiasm at the Olympafrica Centre in Lobamba. The training spans for two days, from (Wednesday and Thursday) December 4 to 5, 2024,” reads a statement from AE.
The workshop is set to conclude tomorrow after lunch with a certificate graduation ceremony with the attendees receiving certificates.
“This initiative is a collaborative effort between EPR and Athletics Eswatini, organized under the guidance of the AE Medical Committee chaired by Khanya. Best wishes to all the participants as they enhance their knowledge and skills in first aid,” concludes the statement.
AE has been busy as they successfully hosted the Tinkhundla National Talent Search Cross-country at Mavuso Sports Centre.
A fortnight ago they also hosted the Kids Athletics and the Development of Nation Sports System (DNSS) project that saw about 46 graduating from the programme.
