MALKERNS – The stage is set, the countdown has begun, and the vibes are about to reach new heights as Afro Pop sensation Blaq Diamond gears up to headline this year’s Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival, happening August 1–2, 2025, at the iconic House On Fire in Malkerns.
Known for their soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and genre-blending sound, the dynamic duo of Ndumiso “Ndu Browns” Mdletshe and Sphelele “Danya Devs” Dunywa will bring their magnetic energy to Eswatini’s most anticipated lifestyle event.
A Festival Like No Other
Now in its seventh edition, the Luju Festival continues to cement its place as one of Southern Africa’s premier cultural showcases, fusing music, fashion, food, and art in a vibrant celebration of heritage and creativity.
In 2024, the festival welcomed over 10,000 guests from 23 countries, and this year’s lineup promises to be even more spectacular. The second artist drop has just been released, and it features a stellar mix of local and regional talent.
South African artists confirmed so far include:

Joining them on stage are some of Eswatini’s brightest stars, including DJ Cup, Sandz, AyaCity, and Ndumz, among others.
The first artist drop featured heavy-hitters such as Amigo Da Casa, Buhlebendalo, Hostix Mabuse, Tkzee, and the ever-popular Lady Zamar, setting the tone for a dazzling and diverse weekend.
Blaq Diamond: A Story of Evolution and Excellence
Since bursting onto the scene with their breakout hit “Ibhanoyi”, Blaq Diamond has become a household name across the continent. Their platinum-certified album “Umuthi” fused Afro Pop with Soulful House and R&B, offering a deeply rooted yet modern sound that resonates widely.
Now operating as independent artists, the duo is exploring fresh creative paths, and Luju offers the perfect platform to showcase their artistic evolution.
