LUDZELUDZE -The community of Boyane welcomed a special tree-planting event, bringing people together to promote inclusion and care for the environment.
The Regional Administrator of Manzini, Chief Gija, joined the event with Honourable Senators and community members. During his speech, Chief Gija said, “Disability is not an inability,” and reminded everyone that no one should be left behind. He spoke about the importance of working together to build a world where everyone is respected, heard, and included.
The event also focused on climate action. Honourable Sifiso Shabalala, Chairperson of the Climate Change Portfolio Committee, praised Persons with Disabilities for taking part in the fight against climate change. He promised to continue supporting their inclusion and making sure their voices are represented.
The day showed how communities can come together to care for the planet and each other.
