MBABANE – The Buffaloes have surged to the top of the Eswatini Rugby Union Senior Men’s 10s Series log standings following an impressive performance in the opening leg of the tournament held over the weekend at the Prince of Wales Stadium.
The determined side sits comfortably in first place with 7 points, having secured a commanding 15-0 victory over the Titans. The Buffaloes displayed both discipline and dominance on the field, with their clinical attack and resolute defense earning them maximum points from the weekend fixtures.
Their standout moment came when they blanked the Titans in a one-sided encounter, asserting themselves as early title contenders. The win follows their earlier emphatic 35-0 thrashing of the same side, showing their consistency and hunger for success in this year’s series.
With other teams like the Knights and Cheetahs also showing glimpses of brilliance, the competition is expected to heat up in the coming legs. However, for now, the Buffaloes have set the pace and the rest of the pack will need to step up if they are to catch them.
