MBABANE- Eswatini-born DJ Bloss celebrates major milestone as Bongani Fassie recognizes his talent.
Eswatini-born, South Africa-based DJ Bloss is riding a career-defining wave after receiving a co-sign from legendary producer and musician Bongani Fassie. The rising star revealed that he is currently working on a song alongside Fassie and vocalist BQueen, marking a pivotal moment in his growing career.
“It felt great. It’s an amazing feeling when your hard work gets noticed. It means I’m on the right track,” said Bloss, reflecting on the recognition.
The collaboration sparked organically after Fassie’s management invited Bloss to play at his birthday celebration. What started as a performance soon grew into a musical connection that is now blossoming into a full-fledged project.
While the details of the track remain under wraps, Bloss is clear about the direction he wants to take: maintaining consistency, hard work, and authenticity.
“I honestly don’t think it’s based on sound. I think seeing the way I’m taking my craft seriously is what caught his eye,” he explained.
Despite the magnitude of working with an icon like Fassie, Bloss says he doesn’t feel pressured.
“Pressure? I wouldn’t call it pressure. I am just humbled to be where I am and working with the likes of Bongani Fassie,” he shared.
Fans eager to hear what the collaboration sounds like will have to wait a little longer, as Bloss says he cannot reveal much yet. However, he assured supporters that updates will be posted on his social platforms once everything is finalized.
Outside of his work with Fassie and BQueen, Bloss is keeping busy with more projects. He is gearing up to release his much-anticipated single “18 Area” featuring Kaygee TheVibe, while also preparing collaborations with Virtosouls, Rina, and Nomalungelo.
With doors opening and recognition growing, DJ Bloss is proving that his relentless dedication to his craft is beginning to pay off. And if his words are anything to go by, this is only the beginning.
