MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows supporters have until July 17 to pay E250 to accompany the teams to play in the Mpumalanga Premier International Cup tournament.
The fee includes transport only as the entry fee is yet to be communicated. Mbabane Swallows, who will be representing the country in the Confederation of African (CAF) Champions League, will face South Africa’s TS Galaxy, Germany’s FC Augsburg and Tanzania’s Young African in the tournament.
“Transport will leave on Saturday, July 20, 2024 for Mbombela. Departure time will be communicated in due course. Transport will depart from Manzini for Matsapha, Mahlanya, Lobamba, Mbabane and exit at Oshoek Border Post. On return, the same route will be used and final stop will be Manzini,” reads a statement from the club.
“Since we will come back very late at night, you are requested to arrange your own transport from the main route to your destinations for safety reasons. Return fare is E250 per person and must be paid to the Swallows Supporters MoMo Account 7855 5435. Deadline for payment is Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
Mbabane Swallows are set to first play South Africa’s TS Galaxy who is hosts of the tournament on July 20 while FC Augsburg will face Tanzania’s Young Africans with the finals set for July 27.
TS Galaxy’s Chairman Tim Sukazi was in the country last week to officially launch the tournament.
