EMASWATI READY FOR E2M FNB GOLF CHALLENGE AT NKONYENI

MBABANE – Golfer Sanele Myeni will be the first Liswati to tee-off in the FNB Eswatini Challenge on Thursday (August 1, 2024) at Nkonyeni Lodge and Golf Estate.

This will be during the E2 million sponsored tournament by FNB Eswatini and it is played under the Sunshine Tour. There are 13 golfers from the country who are part of the 120 that have entered for the three days tournament.

Set to raise the bar at home soil and enjoying home ground advantage is the trio of professional players James Pennington, Mandla Jnr Dlamini and Brandon-Jude Rennie who active under the Sunshine Tour.

The trio were part of the PRO-Am that was played on Tuesday and Wednesday at the venue. The duo of Mandla and James said they were ready for the main tournament to be played for three days (Thursday to Saturday) as they had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the venue ahead of the tournament.

Myeni will tee-off first alongside LB Boshoff and Hayden Griffiths. Next will be Thulani Mkhaliphi at 7am alongside the duo Therion Nel and Ruan Groenewald while Hanco Rudolph is third on the line at 7:10am with Jean-Paul Strydom and CJ du Plessis. The last tee-off is at 12:20pm.
