MANZINI– Enactus Eswatini has officially welcomed Sabelo Dlamini as its new Country Leader, marking a bold new era for one of the country’s most impactful youth empowerment organisations.
The announcement was made on Thursday, June 20, by Enactus Eswatini through their official social media platforms, as the leadership transition drew praise from stakeholders across the academic, business and development sectors.
Dlamini, who assumed office on June 9, brings with him an impressive track record of youth development, education leadership, and entrepreneurship mentorship.
The organisation’s Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Fikile Nkosi, who is also Managing Director at Nedbank Eswatini, led the warm welcome, stating the board was confident in Dlamini’s vision and capabilities.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors of Enactus Eswatini, I am pleased to officially welcome Mr. Sabelo Dlamini as our new Country Leader,” Nkosi said.
“He brings a wealth of leadership experience, a deep commitment to youth development, and a proven track record in advancing social innovation. We are confident that under his stewardship, Enactus Eswatini will reach new heights in empowering university students to transform lives and communities.”
Dlamini, who previously served as Head of Operations at Junior Achievement Eswatini, is also no stranger to Enactus.
In 2003, he was a student member of the then SIFE team at SCOT (now ECOT), and in 2019 he returned as Faculty Advisor, steering Southern African Nazarene University to a national title.
Speaking on his appointment, Dlamini said he was honoured and energised by the opportunity to contribute to the organisation that shaped his early leadership journey.
“It is with great honour and humility to be given the opportunity to lead Enactus Eswatini,” he said.
“I look forward to working with our vibrant students, esteemed partners, and all stakeholders to implement impactful projects that empower our youth and spark meaningful transformation. Enactus gave me my start, and now I get to help others rise through it.”
In his new role, Dlamini is expected to lead Enactus programs across Eswatini, foster strategic partnerships, and work with tertiary institutions and national stakeholders to drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and social impact.
With Enactus’ mission of using business as a catalyst for positive social and environmental change, the new leadership is seen as a timely boost as the organisation seeks to scale up its impact and widen its national footprint.
As the Enactus banner continues to fly high across campuses and communities, all eyes are now on Dlamini’s next moves, and by all accounts, the journey ahead promises to be one of growth, grit and game-changing leadership.
