ESWATINI ARTS SUMMIT INVITES ASPIRING ACTORS TO AUDITION FOR SA SOAPIE

MBABANE– A remarkable opportunity awaits talented actors and actresses as the recently concluded Eswatini Arts Summit has led to auditions for the acclaimed South African telenovela, Isitha, The Enemy.

The auditions are scheduled for Friday, (21 February 2025), starting at 8 AM at the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) offices in Manzini. Interested participants are encouraged to register at their local centres as high turnout is expected, making punctuality crucial.

Award-winning film and television producers, Black Brain Pictures, are set to uncover fresh talent for the upcoming Season 3 of the show.

Director Mandla N, often likened to South Africa’s Tyler Perry, is on a mission to find new faces that can take the entertainment industry by storm. “Remember I always say… What’s yours will never miss you… and if this is your moment, come through. Bring me raw talent and I will do the rest,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and passion in acting.

The excitement surrounding this initiative is palpable, with Eswatini National Council Of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) CEO Stanley Dlamini, expressing his enthusiasm for the collaboration with Black Brain Pictures. “We are thrilled that our Arts Summit has already borne fruit and appreciate Black Brain Pictures’ commitment to this promise. We recognize the need for such opportunities to develop the creative industries in Eswatini, and this is one step towards achieving that goal,” he remarked.
