MBOMBELA – The Eswatini Tourism Authority’s Events Calendar activation drive moved to Mpumalanga, with Hipnotik Festival founder Sakhile Nkambule announcing the upcoming festival’s exciting lineup and partnerships.
The festival, scheduled to take place from October 3rd to 5th at Sidvokodvo, Riders Ranch, promises to be a celebration of youth, culture, creativity, and hip hop.
“We are returning stronger as a youth, with powerful partnerships that align us with global standards and ensure the best possible experience for our fans,” Nkambule said. “This is not just a festival, but a cultural landmark for Eswatini and Southern Africa.”
Partnerships and Safety
Nkambule highlighted the festival’s exclusive partnership deal with Eventbrite, a leading event platform, which will provide a seamless and secure ticketing experience for fans. “This elevates Hipnotik into the international festival space, making it easier than ever for fans from across the world to be part of our story,” he said.
The festival has also partnered with EmerGcare 0966 to provide on-site emergency medical care and standby safety services. “Safety and wellbeing remain at the core of our planning,” Nkambule emphasized.
Economic Impact
The festival aims to drive tourism, youth capacity building, and economic impact, creating jobs for young people and providing a platform for local musicians. “This is just the beginning of the journey to October,” Nkambule said, inviting fans to follow @swazijive on all platforms for exciting announcements.
Activations and Lineup
The festival’s activations will begin with Okmalumkoolkat next week Saturday at Asante Guest house, followed by Mic Cheque (Rap Battle Competition) on September 13th at The Millin, Mbabane. The lineup will be rolled out over the next week, and fans are encouraged to stay tuned.
“Thank you to our partners, our media family, and most importantly, our fans who continue to inspire us to grow,” Nkambule said, inviting Mpumalanga residents to attend the festival.
