MBABANE– The date has been set!
It’s official, that the third edition of the Eswatini Farmers’ Market will be held on October 26, 2024. The announcement was made today (July 9, 2024) by Festival Director Culolami Dlamini.
When reached for comment, Dlamini said, “The theme this year is ‘AFRICA UNITE,’ meaning we bring the whole continent to the Kingdom.”
According to Dlamini, they have partnered with Flying Fish for this year’s edition. He also revealed that more details, such as the venue, will be announced at a later date.
Last year the food, fashion, and lifestyle second edition was a resounding success and saw huge numbers. It was held at the Sibebe Resort on 9 September 2023. The first edition was held at Malkerns Country Club.
Last year’s edition was head lined by South African DJ music producer and song writer Sun-EL Musician, born Sanele Tresure Sithole.
Other artists on the line- up were; SA’s Da Capo, Simmy, DJ Kenza, Atmos Blaq Thakzin, Karyendasoul, Nana Atta, Culolam, Trend Twins, Ayacity Sbu De Drum DJ, and many more.
It also has comedy section, which was head lined by South African comedian Trevor Gumbi and Siya Shezi.
