ESWATINI, LESOTHO, MOZAMBIQUE FOR ICC LEVEL I COACHING COURSE

MBABANE – The country will play hosts to the International Cricket Council (ICC) Level 1 Coach Tutors Course.

The course to be attended by coaches from three countries being Eswatini, Mozambique and Lesotho will be held for over three days from Thursday to Saturday, January 23-25, 2025 at Bethel Court Hotel, Ezulwini.

Eswatini Cricket Association (ECA) announced on Tuesday.

This Training and Education program, organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC), aims to build coaching capacity across Southern Africa by up skilling the Tutors who deliver coaching courses within their countries. Coaches from Eswatini, Lesotho and Mozambique will be in attendance, receiving valuable training to strengthen cricket development in the region,” reads a statement from ECA.

The course will be delivered by ICC Master Educators Christopher Cardoso and Anthonie Ferreira who bring extensive knowledge and experience to guide the participants.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming these coaches and contributing to the growth of cricket across Africa. Eswatini Cricket is excited to announce that we will be hosting the ICC Level 1 Coach Tutors Course at Bethel Court Hotel from 23-25 January 2025,” reads part of the statement.

The course will be officially opened on Thursday with some of the participants from Mozambique and Lesotho expected to arrive on Wednesday and same with the two ICC Master of Educators.
