MBABANE – New Year, New Offices!
The TV license office has relocated to the Eswatini TV building in Mbabane, Mangwaneni Hospital Hill, as of Monday, January 6, 2025.
This was confirmed by Eswatini TV’s Senior Marketing Communication and Brand Officer (SMCBO), Nomcebo Malinga.
Previously, the Eswatini TV License offices were in Mbabane at Madlenya House.
When reaching out for comments, Malinga assured this publication that despite the relocation, all contact details remain unchanged. The public can still reach the office via email at tvlicenceeswatini@gmail.com or by phone at 7622 2000 (MOMO), 7802 4543/4/5, 3405 0163, and 3402 0879.
She stated: “We encourage residents to continue using these channels to communicate with us regarding any concerns about TV licenses. Your feedback is appreciated as we strive to improve our services,” said Malinga.
According to Malinga, several convenient payment options are available, including MOMO, Nedbank, EPTC, and Imali. These channels allow residents to easily and quickly complete the payment process without needing to visit the Mangwaneni office physically.
Malinga added: “Residents are encouraged to take advantage of these multiple payment options and ensure they stay up to date with their TV licensing. This will help support Eswatini’s television industry and ensure the continued production and distribution of high-quality programming.”
She continued: “We apologize for any inconvenience caused and look forward to continuing to serve you to the best of our abilities,” said Malinga.
The SMCBO highlighted reasons why people should pay the TV license fee:
- Quality Content: By paying their TV license fees, viewers directly support the creation and delivery of high-quality content. From news and entertainment to educational programs, ESTVA relies on these funds to continue producing engaging shows.
- Local Broadcasting: ESTVA plays a crucial role in promoting Eswatini’s culture, heritage, and local talent. TV licenses ensure that this valuable service remains accessible to all citizens.
It is worth noting that the TV license fee is E15 per month, totaling E180 annually for each TV set or similar device.
