MBABANE – Zimbabwean investors have been encouraged to seize the growing business opportunities available in Eswatini by establishing investments in the Kingdom.

The call was made on July 3, 2026, during the Eswatini Investment Conference promotional event held in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Speaking at the event, Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) Chief Executive Officer Sibani Mngomezulu invited Zimbabwean businesses and investors to participate in the second edition of the Eswatini Investment Conference, which will take place from July 29 to 31, 2026. A series of pre-conference activities is scheduled from July 26.

“This information session is intended to provide guidance on how to participate in the Eswatini Investment Conference 2026. The conference is a platform where vision meets opportunity and ideas are transformed into reality,” Mngomezulu said.

He said the gathering was about much more than promoting the conference.

“Today, we are not just here to talk about the investment conference. We are here to ignite partnerships and position Eswatini as a strategic investment destination.

“Your presence here reflects the strong relationships that Eswatini continues to build with the international community and our neighbours. More importantly, it demonstrates our shared commitment to partnership, collaboration and a common future,” he said.

Mngomezulu described Eswatini as a competitive and attractive destination for investors.

“We have convened this engagement as part of our preparations for the second edition of the Eswatini Investment Conference (EIC 2026), a key platform through which we aim to position Eswatini as a competitive and preferred investment destination,” he said.

He added that the conference was also about strengthening relationships by bringing partners together early, aligning expectations and creating a shared vision for the outcomes of the event.

“For us, this is not just an event; it is an opportunity—an opportunity to showcase the Kingdom’s potential, highlight priority sectors and, most importantly, facilitate meaningful engagements that translate into quality investment outcomes,” he said.

Mngomezulu said Eswatini offers significant opportunities across a range of priority sectors and expressed confidence that continued partnerships would connect investors with projects capable of driving economic growth.

Zimbabwe and Eswatini continue to enjoy warm bilateral relations. Over the years, Zimbabwean construction companies have played a significant role in delivering major infrastructure projects in the Kingdom, reflecting the strong economic ties between the two neighbouring countries.
