MBABANE – Eswatini Finance Development Corporation (FINCORP) has donated toiletries worth E10 000 to the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office (DPMO).

Speaking during the donation at DPMO in Mbabane on February 6, 2026, FINCORP Senior Human Resources Manager Bonsile Thwala expressed gratitude for having received an invitation from the DPMO to donate towards the back to school campaign.

Thwala, who was with FINCORP Communications Officer Manqoba Makhubu, said they were happy to have given support valued at E10 000 to the DPMO. She said even though they wished they could have done more, resources permitting, they viewed their contribution as something that would change the lives of the people it was intended for.

As FINCORP, Thwala said they remained steadfast in implementing their founding mandate, which was to empower Emaswati and contribute to the country’s economic growth. She said as a company, they looked forward to work together with the DPMO and other stakeholders so that they could create a lasting impact in their communities.

In response, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Thulisile Dladla was of the impression that FINCORP was able to work in uplifting Emaswati to be able to start businesses. Dladla was of the view that Emaswati were even able to pay back the money. She said her office was receiving a donation from a public enterprise for the first time.

According to Dladla, credit was supposed to go to Emaswati who were accessing credit through FINCORP, because they were the ones who were growing the company. She said the company’s donation would be used diligently because there were many children who could not afford the items donated by the financial institution. FINCORP was established in 1995 by His Majesty King Mswati III with an intention to help Emaswati to access credit so that they could be able to start businesses, particularly in the agriculture sector.
