MBABANE – A collaboration for the ages is on the horizon as legendary Eswatini-born gospel artist Sipho Makhabane prepares to work with some of South Africa’s biggest musical icons on his highly anticipated new album.
Renowned for his powerful voice and inspirational lyrics, Makhabane has been a cornerstone of gospel music in Southern Africa for over three decades. His upcoming project promises to connect with both longtime fans and a new generation of listeners. Among the collaborators is none other than the iconic Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the five-time Grammy Award-winning male choral group celebrated for their rich harmonies and cultural significance.
“I am honoured to be releasing an album after 36 years in the music industry,” Makhabane shared. “This album has been long overdue because of other commitments, but I am excited about what we are creating.”
