The events of February 28th which unfolded just right in the watch of the entire world at the Oval Office in the White House, left many around the globe asking themselves questions about the resiliency, ability and capacity of the American diplomacy to make a “2nd coming” on the President Donald Trump’s proposed “Peace Deal” between Ukraine and Russia.
Well, history is littered with diplomatic incidents of the shape, scope, nature and size of what the world witnessed playing itself out in the White House yesterday. Leaders have always dusted themselves and Man-up to situations and experiences like that. The call and need for Peace in Ukraine is urgent; is compelling; is irrevocable; and yes, it must be and will be achieved in our lifetime.
The shocks of diplomacy as seen in the White House February 28th, are inevitable in such highly emotionally charged situations like that. However, the calling and mantle of leadership in our time, lay the huge responsibility on the shoulders of both Russia’s, America’s and Ukraine’s Leaders to walk and work it out. It is doable and thus, it must be done irrespective.
Therefore, it is my considered opinion that President Trump will make a 2nd move towards initiating a Peace Deal between Russia and Ukraine.
The world must remain optimistic and positive at that. President Zelensky also woll reflect on the whole situation as ut were; and sure to make right decision that will best serve the interest of the country and people of Ukraine.
The emotive reaction he displayed is understandable for a leader whose country is in the middle of a war. And he must move on. That’s my take on the situation for now. Thank you.
