This was revealed yesterday (Wednesday, July 17, 2024) during lighting-up homes for rural communities Project by the Ministry Natural Resources and Energy and Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC).
The Sukumani Sambe Rural Electrification Scheme, under Shiselweni 1 Inkhundla, received a grant of E1 million, which will benefit 16 households. In addition, the Mlamula Rural Electrification Scheme was also awarded a grant of over E600 000, which will be used to bring electricity to 36 households.
It is stated that EEC and the Ministry conduct informative sessions for beneficiaries of rural electrification projects funded by the Network Reinforcement and Access Project (NRAP).
