MBABANE – His Majesty King Mswati III has summoned the Lutsango Regiment from the Hhohho Region to Buhleni Royal Residence for the much-anticipated annual Marula (Buganu) Festival.
The first leg of this vibrant cultural event is set to take place during the weekend starting February 7, 2025.
The festival, deeply rooted in Eswatini’s cultural heritage, celebrates the harvest of the marula fruit and its significance to the Swati people. It also serves as a platform to honor unity, tradition, and the role of women in society, as represented by the Lutsango Regiment.
This exclusive announcement, dates revealed by Eswatini Positive News last week, highlights the kingdom’s commitment to preserving and promoting its rich traditions.
