MANZINI – A decade later!

The Impisi Rally is set to celebrate their 10th anniversary this year at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on 2-4 May 2025.

The 10th rally will be dedicated to charity; this was confirmed by the president of the Hyena Motorcycle Club Mattie Potgieter.

When reached for comment the president shared with this publication that this year will be bigger and better as they have for the second time in a row partnered with Manzini City Council. He said, “We have partnered with the Manzini Municipality for our charity drive, which will include a blanket drive. We will also donate food parcels and clothes to different constituencies.”

According to the president they have three care points where the proceeds they will receive from the bikers in the association will also go towards to the charity. The three care points are Zakhele Care point, Manzini Club and Manzini North.

When asked if people also wanted to contribute or donate to the less fortunate towards their course he said, they should get in touch with their Secretary General Freddy Johnson on 7603 1412.

The president also revealed that this year’s Bikers Rally will see bikers from SADC countries partake in performances from artists whom they will reveal soon. He also encouraged women to take up the sport as it is the most refreshing, and they would love to see the numbers improve.

The first edition of the Impisi Rally was held in 2015 at Esibayeni Lodge. Four editions were held at the Malkerns Country Club before it moved to Tums Water world in Sidvokodvo. The last three editions were held at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre, as well as the upcoming one.

Tickets will be available at the gate for E200.
