MBABANE – Liswati singer Ketrus released a visualiser for his latest single, ‘Siswati Ebantfwini,’ on all digital platforms.

The digital platforms include YouTube, Spotify, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, Deezer, and Apple Music.

According to Ketrus (whose real name is Thabiso Shongwe), the song is about taking pride in our roots and culture. It was inspired by the moves he has been making since he started Siswati Trap music and his desire to take Emaswati culture to the world.

Born in Ngwenya and now based in Johannesburg, Ketrus began his music path back in 2017. In his music career, he has featured South African renowned artist Intaba Yase Dubai on the track ‘Ugogo’.

Ketrus expresses that it is about honouring his mother’s sacrifices while expressing gratitude to the late Smallz the Comedian, whom he credits for putting the Eswatini flag on the map.

Ketrus’ most cherished moment is hearing his music being played on air, as that put Eswatini on the map.

In a message to his supporters, he said, “I love and appreciate everyone showing love and support for my music; they must not stop as this is just the beginning. Around August, we are dropping out the ‘Tentele’ EP.”

Stream ‘Siswati Ebantfwini’ and experience Ketrus’ latest musical offering, which showcases his unwavering love for his homeland and his dedication to sharing its rich culture with the world. https://youtu.be/SrES-vG4588
