MBABANE – As the sun sets over Manzini, the Salvation and Praise Life Centre will transform into a vibrant gathering space for women ready to unwind and uplift each other.

This as on April 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the annual Ladies Pajama Party invites all women to slip into their favorite pajamas and engage in an evening filled with laughter, learning, and camaraderie.

The concept of pajama parties in churches has gained popularity as a means for women to connect in a relaxed environment. These events provide an opportunity for discussions on important topics while fostering a sense of community and sisterhood.

Tenele Mbingo, the Ladies Events Committee Leader, shared insights about the significance of this particular event. “This is an event that we do yearly,” she stated. “The main purpose is to equip the ladies with different skills and address life issues affecting females that we normally do not talk about during our regular Sunday services. We also aim to promote fellowship among the ladies.”

Many women in the community are excited about this year’s gathering. Sarah Mhlongo, a long-time attendee, expressed her enthusiasm: “I look forward to the pajama party every year! It’s a chance to learn and have fun with friends.”

Another participant, Thandiwe Nkosi, added, “The discussions and games help us bond. It feels like a safe space where we can share our experiences.”

Mbingo emphasized that this year’s event would be “bigger and better,” encouraging women to expect new activities that will not only add fun but also empower them for the future. “We want to ensure that every lady leaves with something valuable, whether it’s a new skill or a fresh perspective,” she remarked.

As attendees don their favorite pajamas, they will engage in discussions on a range of topics, including health and fitness, diet, social issues, spiritual matters, and beauty. The evening will also feature games designed to foster connections and create a friendly atmosphere.

Highlighting this year’s event, Mbingo mentioned a special guest: “We have the privilege of having First Lady Atsy Dlamini from Sound of Heaven Ministries. She will address the topic ‘How to be a builder as a lady wherever you are.'”

In addition to Dlamini’s session, participants can look forward to discussions on managing stress and anxiety both at home and in the workplace. The event will also include a demonstration by Skyler Studios, focusing on skincare and beauty routines.

Mbingo extended an invitation to all women in the community, encouraging them to join in for an evening of laughter, worship, and shared joy. “Every lady is invited to come and make memories, grow in sisterhood, and lift each other up in Christ,” she concluded.

The Ladies Pajama Party promises to be an enriching experience, combining education and fellowship in a relaxed and fun setting, and women in Manzini are eagerly anticipating the chance to come together in unity and support.
