PIGG’S PEAK – Women from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade are gathered at Sibebe Resort today for Liguma Labomake, a wellness initiative aimed at creating a safe and supportive space for women to discuss issues affecting them, share experiences and explore ways of strengthening their wellbeing and growth in the workplace.
The initiative brings together the ministry’s women to connect, openly engage on personal and professional challenges, learn from one another and identify ways of supporting each other** as they navigate their responsibilities in and outside the workplace.
Liguma Labomake is focused on women’s wellbeing and seeks to encourage meaningful conversations around issues that can affect women in their personal lives and professional environments.
Through the gathering, participants have an opportunity to share their experiences and perspectives while building stronger relationships among colleagues.
The initiative also provides a platform for women to learn from one another and draw strength from shared experiences, with the broader aim of fostering a supportive workplace environment where women can grow personally and professionally.
The Sibebe Resort gathering is therefore not only a wellness activity but also an opportunity for women within the ministry to reflect, connect and strengthen their support networks.
