MANZINI WANDERERS CASE DISMISSED, SISONKHE THROUGH TO LAST 16

MBABANE ‐ After over six hours of arguments, Manzini Wanderers case of being part of the Ingwenyama Cup or having the kick-off of the tournament stopped have been dismissed.

This means the maroon and white won’t be part of the 2025 Ingwenyama Cup. They are also not playing in the MTN Premier League or MTN National First Division League, waiting for an outcome in an relegation appeal case set to be heard on February 10, 2025 at the Supreme Court.

MTN Premier League side Sisonkhe is through to the last 16 after they were drawn against a standby, the spot Manzini Wanderers wanted to occupy.

The matter was before Judge Bongani S Dlamini who dismissed the case after having tried to make the parties involved to sort the matter amicable.

The Ingwenyama Cup will kick-off on Saturday with the grand opening set for Sunday at Mavuso Sports Centre.
