MBABANE – Manzini Wanderers Ladies will kick-off the 2024/ 25 season under the Women’s Football League against Royal Leopard.
The match will be played on Sunday (November 10, 2024) at Eqinisweni Sports Ground at 2pm. Nsingizini Hotspurs will start their campaign against Denver Sundown’s at the same venue in an earlier kick-off 12pm.
The EFA Women’s Football Association (WFA) released the fixtures on Tuesday. Defending champions, Young Buffaloes will face-off against Green Mamba on Saturday Eqinisiweni Sports Ground at 2pm while Mbekelweni will play first against Southern Divas at noon.
Mbabane Swallows will start their campaign against AS Interladies at Manzini Club; kick-off 11am while Red Rhinos will face Sidvwashini United at Tambakulu Stadium, starting at 12pm.
The league was scheduled to kick-off October 5, 2024 but it was postponed due to the engagement of the Women’s Football National team, Sitsebe that was playing in the COSAFA Women’s Championships in South Africa.
There are 12 teams that will be campaigning in the league. Buffaloes were presented with E24 000 first prize money after they defended the title.
