LAVUMISA– Emerging Eswatini singer Mathando has released her emotional new single “Buy’ Ekhaya”, accompanied by an official music video, offering listeners a heartfelt story drawn from real-life struggles. The young artist, whose real name is Thandokuhle Dlamini, continues to make her mark in the local music scene with a song that speaks about loss, pain, and healing.
Mathando, born in 2002 in Lavumisa, is known for her Afro-inspired sound and growing presence over the past three years. Her latest release, featuring Athandwa and produced by Kinga Kangaroo at Swazi Swag Records, is now available on YouTube alongside a visually compelling music video directed by MayD.
The song explores the emotional challenges of growing up without a parent, touching on themes of depression, stress, and anxiety. Through “Buy’ Ekhaya”, Mathando connects deeply with listeners who have experienced similar hardships, using her voice to tell stories that are often left unspoken.
