Mbabane – The Ministry of Education and Training has issued an important reminder to parents, guardians, and students regarding the selection of private schools for the upcoming academic year.
This announcement comes as many families are currently seeking spaces for their children in private institutions.
In its statement, the Ministry emphasized the importance of choosing schools that are officially authorized to operate. To assist in this process, the Ministry has released a comprehensive list of all private schools that have been granted approval for the current year.
Parents and guardians are urged to consult this list before making any enrollment decisions. “Ensuring that the school is on the approved list is crucial to avoid challenges that may arise later, such as issues with accreditation or recognition of the student’s progress,” the Ministry explained.
The reminder serves as a safeguard for families against fraudulent or unauthorized schools that may not meet the standards set by the government. Enrolling in an unapproved school can lead to significant consequences, including financial loss, wasted time, and academic setbacks for students.
The Ministry reassured the public that the list of authorized schools is readily accessible through their offices or official channels. They further encouraged anyone with doubts about a particular school to contact their office for clarification.
This initiative forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to ensuring quality education for all learners in Eswatini.
For further inquiries or to access the list of approved private schools, parents are advised to contact the Ministry of Education and Training directly.
