EZULWINI – The next Miss Eswatini who will be crowned this Saturday, will now drive away in a Jaecoo J7 as opposed to the BMW i3.
This was announced this morning (26 November 2024) on the Oukitel Eswatini official page. In April, Oukitel Eswatini partnered with the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture to be the new directors of the Miss Eswatini Pageant.
The crowning ceremony will be held in four days (Saturday 30 November 2024) at Happy Valley Hotel. The crowning is slated for 4pm.
The statement read, “Having considered the practicalities of maintaining a car without a dealership in the country, we have changed and upgraded the vehicle prize from the BMW i3 to the recently launched Jaecoo J7, readily available and distributed by Stucky Motors Eswatini. “
The replaced BMW i3 from Germany was a fully electric that came with the Oukitel Portable Power Station.
The Top 10 contestants spent the day viewing and admiring the vehicle at Stucky Motors Moneni. It was a wonderful way for each contestant to truly appreciate what’s a stake in winning the crown come Saturday.
So far, Oukitel Eswatini has unveiled several prizes for the Miss Eswatini 2024 Pageant, which includes E50 000 in cash. The beauty ambassador will receive a year’s supply of skin products from Portia M. The top 10 will also receive skincare hampers. The next crowned beauty ambassador will also feature in a Portia M photo-shoot. A necklace and earring set made of American diamonds (cubic zirconia) and natural freshwater pearls from Niwa Pearls from Kuwait.
The top 10 contestants will also each take home the latest C38 smartphone. The top 3—the Queen, the first princess, and the second princess—will each get a smart watch as well. The next Miss Eswatini will get the latest OT8 tablet as well.
The last crowning of Miss Eswatini was held on November 28, 2022, in a glittering ceremony that was held at Sharma House. The reigning queen is Shanice Mamba.
