MATSAPHA – “Move over and heal.” That was Apostle Mandlenkosi Collins Dhlomo’s message to a grieving Jesus Calls Worship Centre (JCWC) congregation as it gathered to honour the life and legacy of its Lady Bishop, Her Royal Highness Pastor Princess Lindiwe.
Apostle Dhlomo delivered the message during a special service at the JCWC main branch in Matsapha on September 20, 2026, urging the church not to remain trapped in the pain of Princess Lindiwe’s death, but to find strength in the presence of God.
“I want to pray this morning, may God help us to move over. May God help us to heal from that level, and then God is especially present in our deepest pain,” Dhlomo said.
His message came as mourners confronted the reality of losing a spiritual leader who had played a prominent role in the life of JCWC and also served the nation as Minister of Home Affairs.
Dhlomo said tragedy often leaves families asking questions that may never be answered, but stressed that faith offers something more powerful than an explanation – God’s presence.
“The Lord does not always explain why tragedy occurs, why our loved ones leave us on earth in times when we least expect. But He promises His presence,” he said.
The apostle said the atmosphere inside the church showed the depth of the congregation’s grief, with worshippers crying, sitting quietly and reflecting as worship and prayer continued.
“As I entered this room, I can feel the presence of God,” Dhlomo said. “No explanation can heal you, but His presence heals you.”
He revealed that he had also spent time praying with the bereaved family, including Princess Lindiwe’s children, before the service.
“Myself and the prophet, we joined hands with the children, and we prayed with them, and they said they felt like something was lifted off their shoulders,” he said.
Dhlomo acknowledged that faith does not make bereavement painless, saying even a family that trusts God will feel the weight of such a loss.
“You are led by the man of God. You are led by a family that trusts God. But at the same time, our humanness, of course, does feel the heavy blow of what has just happened,” he said.
He assured the family that the mourning process would not have to be faced alone, saying the wider Christian community was standing with them in prayer.
“To the whole family, we want to say, the whole church of Jesus Christ is praying for you,” Dhlomo said. “And we trust that you are going to be able to go through this, not alone, but by the grace of the Almighty God.”
The service brought together JCWC congregants, church leaders, mourners and faith leaders from Eswatini and South Africa to pay tribute to Princess Lindiwe.
Gospel artist and songwriter Shekinah Motsa led worship, while Prophetess Nomusa Ka Malinga Dhlomo, Co-Senior Pastor of Covenant Fellowship Church International, also ministered during the service.
Senate President Pastor Lindiwe Dlamini conveyed condolences to Their Majesties, the bereaved family, friends and the JCWC congregation, while honouring Princess Lindiwe’s contribution to the church and the nation.
Princess Lindiwe was remembered as JCWC’s Lady Bishop and a public servant whose leadership extended beyond the church through her service as Minister of Home Affairs.
As the congregation mourned its departed leader, Dhlomo’s message shifted the focus from loss alone to the difficult work of healing – calling on the church to grieve, trust God and ultimately move forward.
