MALKERNS – MTN Bushfire 2025 Online tickets have officially sold out!
Just like the Early Bird Tickets that sold out in 10 minutes last November when they went live, the Online tickets have now officially sold out as well.
This marks the 13th consecutive year that MTN Bushfire has sold out online.
The good news, however, is that tickets are still available on MoMo from the MTN WhatsApp Marketplace at discounted prices. Be sure to secure your Phase 3 Golden Lounge and Phase 2 Main Arena & Children’s tickets while stocks last.

The 18th edition of the MTN Bushfire Festival will be held from May 30 to June 1, 2025, at the scenic Malandelas in Malkerns. This announcement was communicated via the festival’s official Facebook page on Sunday.
Hailed by CNN as the seventh must-attend festival, last year’s edition recorded at least 20,000 daily attendees for the three-day festival. The 17th edition was the biggest festival yet, featuring new stages, more parking, and additional corporate stalls on site. It also saw 4,500 campers who utilized the camping site, which is typically for international festivalgoers and locals who prefer not to travel during the three-day event.
Last year also featured panellists from across the globe at the MTN Bushfire Art Round Table, where they shared insights on how to monetize the music and art industries. The 17th edition included several stages, namely the Main Stage, Amphitheatre Stage, Ballantine’s Stage, Bring Your Fire Zone, The Barn, and the Heineken Stage.
The headliners last year included South African Limpopo singer and dance queen Makhadzi, Thandiswa Mazwai, 2024 Grammy nominee Musa Keys, Nigerian global music sensation Nneka, and many more.
