MBABANE – Are you a graphic designer?
If that is the case, grab the opportunity to design the National Arts and Culture Awards 2024 (NACAs) logo.
The prestigious NACAs is seeking an innovative and talented designer to create its official logo, with the winner to receive a E5 000 cash prize. This was confirmed by Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) CEO Stanley Dlamini yesterday (Tuesday, July 30, 2024).
He said, “The NACAs is an event that honours individuals and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to the arts and culture industry in Eswatini,” said Dlamini.
The logo should:
• Capture the spirit and essence of the awards ceremony and the contributions made by the arts and culture industry in Eswatini.
• Be memorable, professional, and versatile enough to be used across a variety of media and platforms.
• Reflect the dynamic and creative nature of the NACAs Awards and the pride that Eswatini takes in its arts and cultural heritage.
Based on the call for logo design, the types of logos needed for submission are:
1. Primary Logo: A main logo that represents the NACAs Awards, capturing the spirit and Icon essence of the ceremony and the arts and culture industry in Eswatini.
2. Only Logo: A standalone icon that can be used without the logotype (text), representing the NACAs Awards.
3. Wordmark Logo: A text-based logo featuring the logotype (NACAs) that can be used independently or in conjunction with the icon.
4. Combination Mark Logo: A logo that combines the icon and wordmark, which can be used as the primary logo.
To ensure versatility, designers should submit logos in various formats, including:
• PNG (raster)
• PDF (vector)
• JPEG (raster)
• Vector formats (e.g., AI, EPS, SVG)
Additionally, designers may consider submitting logo variations for different use cases, such as:
• Horizontal and vertical orientations
• Colour and monochrome (black and white) versions
• Reversed or inverted logos for dark backgrounds
• Social media icon-sized logos
By submitting multiple logo options and variations, designers can demonstrate the versatility and adaptability of their designs.
Submissions should be sent to enac.awards@gmail.com or info@enacawards.com by midnight on August 7, 2024.
