MBABANE – The National football team, Sihlangu has been motivated ahead of their second leg clash against Zimbabwe in the CHAN Qualifiers after the unveiling of E100 000 sponsorship from Nedbank Eswatini.
The replica cheque was handed to the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frederick Mngomezulu on Wednesday during the team training session at Mavuso Sports Centre.
Sihlangu hosts Zimbabwe in the second leg match on Saturday at Mbombela Stadium, South Africa, leading 3-0 after the famous victory last Sunday in Botswana where Zimbabwe hosted its match. The math will start at 6pm.
Nedbank Eswatini some of the EFA sponsors including Umlembe who are assisting the team with water.
It is not for the first time that Nedbank Eswatini assist sports in the country as they had done so with cycling. The sponsorship will assist EFA is incentivizing the players and also take care of some of the costs of hosting the home game away from home.
