HLATHIKHULU – Pastor Bheki Khumalo, founder and leader of Kingdom Worship Tabernacle in Hlathikhulu, is preparing to release his debut book titled Understanding the Truth About Praise and Worship. The book is currently available for pre-order and is expected to be released to the public by the end of July, followed by an official launch event.
The upcoming book dives deep into the subject of praise and worship, a topic Pastor Khumalo believes is often misunderstood in the modern church. “This is actually a book about Praise and Worship where I define what praise and worship is,” he explained. “It aims to take the Church back to the heart of praise and worship.”
Designed for pastors, worship leaders, and believers seeking a deeper connection with God, the book combines biblical teaching, personal reflection, and real-life experiences. Khumalo explains that the book will empower the people of God to understand not only the spiritual essence of worship but also the practical roles involved, including the responsibilities of worship leaders and congregants alike.
A key feature of the book is its attention to the common hindrances faced in praise and worship ministries. By addressing these barriers, Khumalo hopes to offer clarity and encouragement to individuals and churches striving to strengthen their worship culture.
Pastor Khumalo’s passion for this subject stems from his own ministry journey. “God called me into the ministry of empowering believers in the subject of praise and worship. I conduct worship empowerment sessions around the country, and it came into my heart to put this in a book,” he said.
Understanding the Truth About Praise and Worship is Pastor Khumalo’s first published work. He believes it will not only inform but also inspire a spiritual shift in how worship is approached across churches.
