NOBUHLE DLAMINI JUNIOR GOLF CHALLENGE ON DECEMBER 17

MBABANE – Junior golfers will take it to the greens be on December 17, 2024 during the Nobuhle Dlamini Junior Golf Challenge.

The challenge hosted by the country best lady professional golfer will be held at the Ezulwini Golf and Country Club, formerly Royal Swazi Golf Club. Dlamini is playing under the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the Ladies Sunshine Tour where she had made her name and hoisted the country’ flag high.

Dlamini announced the date of the tournament on her social media platforms.

This would be the third edition of the tournament as it debuted in 2022 and the second edition was held last year in April. The juniors had about seven weeks to prepare for the tournament.

There were over 80 junior golfers who took part in the challenge last year and the event was attended by then Prime Minister Sipho Cleopas Dlamini who motivated the golfers. More are expected to take part this time around.

Nobuhle Dlamini who was also present in the 2023 edition said she was happy that the tournament was growing each and every year as they had about 67 players in 2022 and then the about 80 in 2023.

In hosting the tournament, Dlamini get assistance from the Eswatini Golf Union (EGU) who are custodians of golf in the country, Nomads Eswatini, Eswatini Junior Golf Academy, and the City of Johannesburg.

There are great prizes that are won but those who excelled on the day.
