MBABANE – Nsingizini Hotspurs matched Betway Premiership side Richards Bay, as they settled for a 1-all draw on Tuesday during an international practise match.
The practise match was played at the Siyabonga Sangweni Stadium, Edondotha, KwaZulu Natal, where the local side faced a team that featured international player Justice Figareido who was part of starting 11 for his side.
Nsingizini Hotspurs’ goal was scored by Pius Awuah, while their starting list included new signings Khanyakwezwe Shabalala and Sinenkosi Dlamini. Others were Neliso Myeni, Ncamiso Thwala, Alvin Shabashie and Ayanda Mabuza among others.
The MoMo Cup Champions are preparing for their CAF Confederation Cup (CCC) first leg match against Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch set for August 17 at Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban with the second leg a week later.
Nsingizini Hotspurs has been busy since they resume their pre-season training as they stayed for at least two weeks in Durban were they played a series of friendly match, while on Saturday they were crowned champions of the Red Card GBV Football Tournament played in South Africa beating Mbabane Swallows 1-0 in the final.
