MANZINI – International flair meets local power!
Local music lovers are in for a treat as Sbu the Drum DJ, born Sibusiso Dlamini, gears up for his highly anticipated One Man Show on May 31, 2025, at The Xchange Lounge & Shisanyama.
The event promises to be a highlight on the entertainment calendar, with an electrifying mix of local and international stars. Headlining the night is South African music giant DJ Maphorisa, joined by Uncool MC and Masterpiece YVK.
Adding local flair to the show is award-winning gospel artist Linda Dlamini, local DJS including; Tilungu, DJ MBO, Uncle Karly, Locco, Bay Bash, and event host MC TK.
Dlamini encouraged the public to attend and said, “Let’s fill up the venue and make history together!”
DJ Maphorisa—real name Themba Sekowe—is no stranger to Swazi audiences. He’s a celebrated producer known for blending house, Amapiano, and Afro-pop, and for chart-topping collaborations with stars like Wizkid, Kabza De Small, and Young Stunna. From his early success with Uhuru to producing global hits like “Khona”, Maphorisa is a certified crowd-puller.
Joining him on stage is Uncool MC, a rising star in alternative hip-hop, and Masterpiece YVK (born Thabang Kgotso), an Amapiano singer and songwriter whose soulful vocals and high-energy stage presence have earned him a loyal fan base.
This event marks Sbu the Drum DJ’s second one-man show. His debut took place during the lockdown in collaboration with Destiny, hosted at The Xchange Shisanyama in Manzini. He also made waves last year with his Ocean Summer Vibes show, where DJ Maphorisa shared the stage with Kabza De Small, Young Stunna, and other South African powerhouses.
With an electric mix of local talent, Amapiano royalty, gospel flair, and a venue known for top-tier entertainment, the Sbu the Drum DJ One Man Show is poised to deliver a night of unforgettable music and celebration.
