He said, “With only a day left, the council is overwhelmed by the number of entries received. So far, 35 designs have been submitted, making it a difficult decision for the selection panel. This overwhelming response highlights the importance and potential of the creative industries in Eswatini. We are pleased with the level of interest and creativity displayed by Eswatini’s designers,” said the CEO.

Dlamini shared that this is a promising sign of what’s to come with the NACAs awards. He added, “The panel will be meeting on Thursday morning to review the entries and select the winner. We thank all those who have submitted their designs and encourage anyone who hasn’t to do so by the deadline,” said Dlamini.

The winning designer will receive E5 000, and the NACAs will be officially launched in the coming week.

The NACAs will celebrate the rich artistic and cultural heritage of Eswatini. They will be a platform for the country’s talented artists and performers to showcase their work and receive recognition for their contributions to the nation’s cultural landscape.
