MBABANE – In the spirit of Nkwe, Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini his Cabinet has managed to approve 39 Bills and policies in three months.
The premier with his team has done this to provide an enabling environment for social, economic, and political development programs to be effectively implemented.
It is reported that the 39 Bills and Policies were approved during the first quarter of the current Financial Year – April to June 2024.
This is contained in the 1st Quarter Performance Report for the Private and Cabinet Office tabled in Parliament last week.
Today, the Head of Government is expected to submit responses before members of parliament in the House of Assembly regarding some of the questions that were forwarded when the Performance report was tabled.
According to the report, the Prime Minister continued to chair the weekly Cabinet
meetings to consider and approve policy issues and Bills guiding the operations of
Government. This has been happening since he took office last year.
