PM RUSSELL DLAMINI RETURNS FROM MOZAMBIQUE, REFLECTS ON INAUGURATION AND BILATERAL ENGAGEMENTS

MBABANE – Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has returned to Eswatini after attending the inauguration of President Daniel Chapo in Mozambique.

Reflecting on the event this morning, the premier expressed his optimism for Mozambique’s future under the new leadership, emphasizing hopes for peace, prosperity, and national unity.

“Eswatini joins Mozambique in celebrating this significant moment of transition,” said the PM.

He continued: “We pray that the inauguration of President Chapo will usher in a new era of cooperation, where the people of Mozambique come together to rebuild, restore, and achieve lasting peace and stability.”

In addition to the inauguration, Dlamini engaged in crucial bilateral talks with senior officials from across the region, including Mozambique’s High Commissioner to Eswatini, H.E Jorge Henrique da Costa Khalau, Prime Minister of Tanzania, H.E Kassim Majaliwa, and Commonwealth Secretary-General, Professor Luis Gabriel Franceschi. These discussions are expected to strengthen the ties between Eswatini and its neighbors, fostering deeper collaboration for mutual progress.

The PM concluded by reaffirming Eswatini’s commitment to regional peace and development, expressing confidence in a prosperous future for all nations involved.
