MANZINI – A Gospel extravaganza you don’t want to miss!
Preparations for the Mount Zion Experience that will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Metropolitan Evangelical Church in Manzini are at an advanced stage.
The gospel extravaganza is slated to kick off at 4 pm. The dress code is all white affair.
When reached for comment, gospel musician Sphiwo Ndoni Ndlangamandla confirmed to this publication that preparations are going great. He said, “All we see is God’s faithfulness all the way. I can just say we are on 80% completion of the preps. All EmaSwati must come expecting A glorious experience, an excellence, the best music ever prepared and produced in Eswatini, nothing but the best.”
According to the Tive Temhlaba hit maker, the purpose of this event is actually to create an atmosphere of worship for every individual who loves gospel music. There will also be different preachers who will teach those who attend the show to worship God. The line-up includes South African gospel artists, namely Putuma Tiso, Nomandla Sandra, and Prudence Mathebula. Local gospel artists are Sphiwo Ndoni, Nothando Dlamini, Psalmist Muzi, Phumelela Mkhumane, Lindwayinkhosi Mpila, Philani Gamedze, Mpela Mndawe, Zerah Mhlanga, Big Bend We Praise, Ntokozo Matsebula, Make Malangwane, and Ntandoyenkhosi.
When asked if tickets are still available, he said, “Tickets are still available. I encourage people to make sure they buy their tickets as early as possible. I believe there will be tickets at the door, so people must come early and access them so we can start on time at 4pm. They will be selling at 100 general. The VIPs are sold out already.”
Ndlangamandla went on to encourage the public not to miss this great experience. “Your refreshment, healing, favour, and enjoyment are at Metropolitan this coming Saturday. You can miss all your misses but not the Mount Zion Experience.”
According to Ndoni, they have prepared transportation after the event for people around Manzini, Matsapha, Ezulwini, and Mbabane, especially those who are near the roads, so they must not worry about how they will get home. The first Mount Zion Experience was on August 5, 2022, at Lobamba Revival. The line-up of Gospel artists who performed are: Takie Ndou, Scelo Moya, Simiso Simelane, Bhelekazi, Ndumie Nhleko, Fakazi Samuel, and Nothando Dlamini, just to name a few.
