MBABANE – Ncusalezulu “Mr. Keys” Dlamini from Nkhungwini is a rising star in the music industry, known for his boundless passion and exceptional piano skills. Born into a musical family, he started playing piano at a very tender age, honing his craft by performing at his local church.
Dlamini’s dedication to his craft has paid off. He has played at the prestigious MTN Bushfire Festival twice, showcasing his talent on the national stage while performing for Sarnilo, an Eswatini soul singer. Dlamini described his experience performing at the MTN Bushfire Festival as the best, as it allowed him to connect with other pianists and learn from their playing styles. He mentioned that getting to know musicians like Musa Keys and listening to their performances was particularly inspiring and educational.
In addition to his musical prowess, Dlamini holds a certificate in Music Marketing, demonstrating his well-rounded understanding of the industry. He obtained his certificate at the Vukubone Sound Lab and is currently pursuing his studies in music at Limkokwing University, further expanding his knowledge and skills. His stage name, “Mr. Keys,” reflects his mastery of the piano and his ability to captivate audiences with his performances. “He’s best in what he does, and I have learned a lot from him,” said one of his many students whom he teaches the piano.

I know first-hand how challenging it can be to pursue your dreams, but with dedication and perseverance, anything is possible. Most importantly, remember why you started in the first place. The joy and fulfilment I feel when I’m performing on stage is unmatched, and I know you can experience that too,” said Dlamini.
