MBABANE- Eswatini’s rising star shines in Cape Town with new track “Wander Into You”
Rising Eswatini artist Sarnilo proudly represented her nation at the prestigious Spotify Africa Writing Camp in Cape Town, an initiative designed to spotlight the continent’s diverse musical voices through collaboration, mentorship, and creative exchange.
The camp, hosted by Spotify, brought together a select group of artists, producers, and songwriters from across Africa for an immersive program of masterclasses, studio sessions, and mentorship opportunities. Under the guidance of African music heavyweight TRESOR and celebrated Nigerian producer P.Priime, participants gained invaluable insights into collaboration, the business of music, and how to work effectively with global platforms like Spotify.
In this dynamic space, Sarnilo teamed up with acclaimed producer PSILK and songwriter Mikhaela Faye to create “Wander Into You”, a track that beautifully blends soulful R&B with Afro-fusion undertones. The song not only reflects the camp’s spirit of collaboration but also marks an important milestone in Sarnilo’s artistic journey.
“Being chosen for the Spotify Africa Writing Camp was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Sarnilo shared. “The mentorship, the knowledge sharing, and the chance to collaborate on such a global stage reminded me that Eswatini has incredible talent ready to shine. ‘Wander Into You’ is the gift that came from this experience, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.”
