MBABANE – The Down Memory Lane program on EBIS 1 will hosts former Radio Commentator S’gayoyo Magongo, who will be accompanied by SABC’s Ligwalagwala FM sports commentators on Sunday at 3:15pm.
Magongo will be accompanied by former Coach and analyst Isaiah Ice ‘Lobaba’ Dlamini and Ligwalagwala FM’s Commentators Bheki Letshwalo and Professor Derrick Mashabane. The program is aired on the Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Services (EBIS) 1 (SiSwati Channel) every Sunday at 3:15pm, hosting different sports legends.
The host of the show Donatus ‘Inkonotja’ Zwane confirmed on Thursday that he will be hosting the quartet on Sunday (July 21, 2024) where they will be sharing their past experiences in sports commentary.
Magongo was among the favourite’s football commentators in the country while still working for the EBIS, while Isaiah Dlamini was well known while leading now dysfunctional Midas City (Mbabane City) and he was also a football analyst.
The other guests Bheki Letswalo and Professor Derrick Mashabane are South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) soccer commentator and they are commentators for Ligwalagwala FM and SABC Sports.
Letswalo joined the radio station Ligwalagwala FM in November 2004 and went on to be the SABC SiSwati commentator and made his debut commentary on SABC1 Sport during a Chippa United and Golden Arrows game, which was played in Cape Town.
