MBABANE – Meet the ‘Show Your Talent Eswatini’ judges and team!
The standard and level of professionalism of ‘Show Your Talent Eswatini’ is evident in the cream of the crop panel of judges who have been announced today (Tuesday, August 20, 2024).
The Show Your Talent Eswatini competition will be held on September 28, 2024, at the Mbabane Theatre Club. There will be different categories with different judges. This was confirmed by Talent ‘n’ Motion Academy Director Velile Dube today.
Dube shared with this publication that the Talent ‘n’ Motion Academy, in partnership with the Kwakitsi Foundation, Her Royal Highness (HRH) Princess Temtsimba and other relevant stakeholders, are on a mission to take local talent to greater heights by introducing them to international platforms such as Talent America, through Juanita Oosthuizen, who is the Talent America Agent in Africa.
The judges for the Dance Category include:
Professional Dancer and Show Your Talent Eswatini Director, Velile Dube, and Professional Dancer Buyi Cele.
Music Judges include:
Musician Thamsanqa KrTC Sibandze and Musician and Music Producer Muzi ‘Muti’ Ngwenya.
Modelling Judges are:
Former Miss Eswatini 2013/2014 Samukelisiwe Magagula and Former Miss Black Hawaii 2008 Waheedah Masinga.
The Acting judge is Film and Director at Bumba Media, Samukeliso Nxumalo.
The Show Your Talent Team is:
Show Your Talent Mananger, Tebesutfu Nkambule, and Show Your Talent Assistant Manager Temaphanga Maphanga.
Dube said, “See you next month at the Theatre Club, where you can stand a chance of being like 9-year-old Makhai Bennett, who is well on his way to hitting the big time after getting first place in the vocal pop category and winning himself a full scholarship (sponsorship) to attend Talent America in person next year.”
She concluded by saying, “We cannot wait to unearth more local talent that will represent our beautiful country in New York in 2025.”
