MBABANE – The people under Siphofaneni Inkhundla will get down to business on Saturday when they participate in the Shukuma Eswatini programme.
The programme is presented by the country’s sports mother body, the Eswatini Sport and Recreation Council (ESRC) that is under the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs.
“You are invited to the Siphofaneni edition of Shukuma Eswatini. Join us at the Siphofaneni Inkhundla from 8am for a day filled with activities and promoting good health,” reads a statement from ESRC.
The programme have been put on hold for the past two months as they were giving way to the newly launched Tinkhundla National Talent Show that featured under-20 football Tinkhundla tournament and athletics in sports.
The event starts with a walk of about 10km and then the people get involved in playing different sporting codes. Some of the sporting codes to be played on the day include athletics, table tennis, cricket, rugby, martial arts, tug of war, egg race, netball and teqball among others.
The programme is also expected to visit the Shiselweni Region and after Siphofaneni.
