MBABANE – The Eswatini Swimming Association (ESA) National Championships will take place over six consecutive days at Enjabulweni Independent School in Manzini.
Swimmers will engage in non-stop competition as they via for national honours. The championships commence on February 25 and conclude on March 2. According to ESA, the event is proudly sponsored by Viva Beverages.
ESA has characterised the national championships as their most significant swimming event of the year and has invited the nation to come in large numbers to support the local competitors.
“Prepare for the largest national swimming event of the year. The 2025 ESA National Championships, proudly sponsored by Viva Beverages, will be held at Enjabulweni Independent School from February 25 to March 2, 2025,” reads a statement.
Moreover, spectators will enjoy free entry from February 25 to 28, after which an entry fee of E30 will be charged on March 1 and 2.
On February 25 to 27, warm-up sessions will commence at 4:00pm, with the first event starting 30 minutes later. On February 28, warm-ups are scheduled to begin at 2:00pm, followed by the first event at 3:00pm. From March 1 to 2, warm-ups will start at 8:00am, with the first event commencing at 9:00am.
“This week-long event promises nothing short of excitement, action, and numerous splashes as our champions strive for victory each day. Be there or be told,” concludes the statement.
