SWALLOWS FANS FOR MPUMALANGA PREMIER INTERNATIONAL TOURNEY

MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows supporters are eager to fill up the Mbombela Stadium during the Mpumalanga Premier’s International Tournament.

The two days tournament to be played July 20 and 27 will feature four teams being South Africa’s TS Galaxy who are hosts, Eswatini’s Mbabane Swallows, Germany’s Bundesliga side FCAugsburg and Tanzania Young Africans.

Mbabane Swallows National Supporters Branch Committee is working on the details including the transport fee, accommodation if to be needed and the entry fee to the venue.

Swallows supporters have been one of the fans that travelled in huge numbers when its team is going to play outside the country.

Swallows will play TS Galaxy in the first semi-finals of the tournament while Tanzania’s Young Africans will face Germany’s FC Augsburg in the second semi-finals. The final will be played on July 27 at the Mbombela Stadium.

“The National Supporters Committee is organising transport for supporters who will be interested in travelling to Mbombela and you will be advised through your branch chairpersons and our social media pages,” reads a statement from the club.

Mbabane Swallows also eagerly waiting for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League draw after qualifying by winning the 2023/ 24 MTN Premier League.

They will use the Mpumalanga Premier’s International Tournament as part of their preparations for the CAF Champions League.

What will also come as good news for Mbabane Swallows, TS Galaxy from South Africa is eager to set up a fan base in Eswatini that will see football fans travelling to South Africa to support TS Galaxy during their games.
