MBABANE- UNESWA’s Tactic Musiq readies to release heartfelt single “Utsandvwa Ngimi” this November.

Maqhawe Masuku, popularly known as Tactic Musiq. A final-year BSc Environmental Health Sciences student at the University of Eswatini (UNESWA), Tactic is proving that passion and purpose can exist in perfect harmony.

For Tactic, music is more than melody, it’s a form of expression, a bridge connecting hearts in a world where love often feels distant. “Music to me is a way to express my emotions and communicate a message to the world,” he shared. His lyrics often revolve around love, a theme he believes the world desperately needs to rekindle.

“My music is not just a song, but emotions brought to life,” he explained. “That’s why when it finds you single, you’ll run to propose; when you’re in love, it strengthens your faith to love.”

Drawing inspiration from global artists like Lloyiso, Sam Smith, and Inkabi Records, as well as local talents such as Celumusa, Young Zesh, and Upscale Live, Tactic has crafted a distinctive sound rooted in sincerity and soul.

Currently, he’s working on major collaborations and gearing up for the release of his upcoming single “Utsandvwa Ngimi”, featuring Mvilas, set to drop on November 26, 2025. The song, which translates to “You Are Loved By Me,” celebrates appreciation, devotion, and lasting affection. “It’s about loving my girlfriend compassionately and assuring her that my love will last forever,” he said.

While balancing academics and artistry is no small feat, Tactic remains steadfast in his dream to reach international stages. “My dream is to cross boundaries and travel continents through music,” he expressed confidently. “I still believe that the world is missing a lot from my voice, and I will definitely deliver.”

With “Utsandvwa Ngimi” on the horizon, Tactic Musiq is not just sharing a song, he’s reviving love through rhythm, one heartfelt lyric at a time.
