MBABANE– Eswatini’s music scene is set for an exciting addition with the upcoming release of “We Go High,” an inspirational single by The African Don SZ featuring PBL Megamind and Mr Kangaroo.
Built on themes of ambition and determination, the track blends motivational lyricism with high-energy production aimed at inspiring the modern-day hustler.
At its heart, “We Go High” explores the mindset of perseverance and the discipline required to turn dreams into reality. The song encourages listeners—especially young dreamers and entrepreneurs—to keep pushing forward despite challenges. It highlights a simple truth: success rarely happens by chance but through hard work and consistency.
The single marks the first official collaboration between the three artists. It represents an important creative milestone for them as they combine their unique styles into one powerful record.
The African Don SZ, also known as TAD, led the production of the track. He crafted a sound that fuses Hip-Hop with Afrobeat influences and distinctive African musical elements. The song was recorded at the well-known SSR Studio, where the artists brought their creative vision to life.
Mr Kangaroo also contributed to the project by handling the engineering. His technical expertise ensured a crisp and polished sound that strengthens the track’s uplifting message.
According to TAD, the creative process happened naturally. He first presented the instrumental to PBL Megamind, whom he describes as one of the most talented artists he has worked with.
The chemistry was immediate. Megamind connected with the beat right away and recorded the hook on the spot. Although the track was initially planned as a two-artist collaboration, TAD later felt it needed an additional voice.
He then reached out to Mr Kangaroo, whose contribution ultimately added the perfect balance of energy and depth to the song.
“The message behind ‘We Go High’ is about perseverance and the pursuit of dreams,” TAD explained. “It speaks to go-getters who are determined to make something out of nothing and remain hopeful despite the challenges.”
With its empowering message and vibrant sound, the single is expected to resonate with listeners while contributing to the growing momentum of Eswatini’s music industry.
The African Don SZ has encouraged fans to follow his social media platforms for the official release date. Once released, “We Go High” will be available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
