MANZINI– South African rap sensation Tony Dayimane has officially confirmed that he will be visiting Eswatini to headline Berachah Kitchen’s “Pens Down” event, an annual celebration recognizing students who have completed their schooling.
The “Pens Down” event, set for December 5, 2025, from 11 am to 3 pm, at Berachah Kitchen, Manzini is more than a celebration — it is a platform for students to reflect on their hard work, honor their resilience, and participate in a community-focused initiative that raises funds for charitable causes. The gathering promotes unity, perseverance, and social responsibility, giving students and their families a day of inspiration and festivity.
In a post on his Facebook page, Tony Dayimane announced: “I’m going to be Eswatini on the 4th to 8th of December. We will be doing a radio & TV tour, giving back to charity, performing and visiting schools & varsities. Get tickets, come see me!” This confirms not only his headline performance at Pens Down, but also a series of events designed to engage the community and support local initiatives.
Event organizer Mbukiso Dlamini emphasized the significance of “Pens Down”: “This event is about unity and celebrating resilience throughout the year. We want to inspire students to stay patient and focused while giving back to those in need.” Proceeds from the event will support Berachah Kitchen’s ongoing efforts to address poverty and uplift the local community.
Tony Dayimane Born Sbongakonke Mfundo Mchunu in Umlazi, Durban, Tony Dayimane — also known as ‘Ivikelа Mbusо’ — has become one of South Africa’s most dynamic young rappers. He rose to fame with viral TikTok freestyles and hit singles such as ‘Zulu Girl’ (2022) and ‘Ifilimu’ (2023) featuring Usimamanе.
